Hi! My name is Janeen and I created Rapture because the digital media industry intrigues me beyond belief. It is ever-changing and keeps me on my toes. I do the work I do because I love it. I appreciate meeting new people, I enjoy being creative, and I love seeing my ideas become reality.
I have a strong desire to help people and I did not see a space for that in the corporate world in ways that fulfilled me—so here I am. The word "Rapture" has various meanings. Rapture is defined as "a feeling of ecstasy so magical it is almost as if you have been transported to some other world." In simpler words, Rapture is a feeling of intense pleasure and joy, which I strive to find in every aspect of life. I believe you can manifest a feeling through life experiences and the people you surround yourself with. So, Rapture is a constant reminder for me to manifest happiness and fulfillment in life.
One of the greatest losses I have experienced was when my grandfather passed. He taught me about Faith, which has shaped my character and molded me into the person I am today. In a way, my business name is an ode to him. The Rapture symbolizes transportation to everlasting life, which brings me a great sense of peace. It is a constant reminder to live my grandfather's example and hold true to my values.
Ultimately, my goal for Rapture is to live my purpose through my work and to help others. I love connection, I love media, and I love communicating.
